Pure Dairy Strengthens Leadership With Appointment Of Two General Managers

Leading dairy provider Pure Dairy has announced the appointment of Lee Shipley as General Manager of Wholesale/Retail Sales and Tim Bonaguro as General Manager of Corporate Sales. These key leadership appointments signal Pure Dairy’s commitment to expanding its market presence and enhancing customer partnerships across the foodservice and retail sectors.

The appointments come at a pivotal time for the company, with Pure Dairy set to open its state-of-the-art dairy manufacturing and processing facility in Dandenong South in 2025. The facility will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth strategy, enabling increased local production capacity and supply chain efficiency while providing greater flexibility in product innovation for foodservice, retail, and corporate clients.

Strengthening Foodservice and Retail Leadership

Bringing decades of experience in sales strategy and market expansion, Lee Shipley will lead the Wholesale/Retail Sales division, driving growth and strengthening relationships with national retailers, distributors, and independent operators. His expertise in retail and wholesale strategy is expected to propel Pure Dairy’s footprint in the competitive Australian market.

Tim Bonaguro, stepping into the role of General Manager of Corporate Sales, brings a strong background in corporate account management and business development. He will focus on expanding partnerships with food manufacturers, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), and major corporate clients, ensuring Pure Dairy remains a trusted supplier for large-scale dairy solutions.

Adrian Josephson, Executive Chairman of Pure Dairy said: “Lee and Tim bring extensive industry knowledge, strategic insight, and a results-driven approach that align with Pure Dairy’s vision for growth. Their leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our retail and foodservice divisions, delivering innovative solutions, and expanding our reach in the market.”

Dandenong South: A New Era for Australian Dairy

Pure Dairy’s upcoming Dandenong South manufacturing facility will be a game-changer for the company’s foodservice and retail operations. The cutting-edge plant will significantly enhance the production and distribution of high-quality dairy products, ensuring greater consistency, efficiency, and responsiveness to market demands.

The new facility will enhance Pure Dairy’s product development capabilities, enabling the company to create tailored solutions for chefs, QSR operators, food manufacturers, and retailers. From its signature product The Burger Cheese, renowned for premium melts, to its versatile Universal range, designed for superior stretch, melt, and flavour, the site will further solidify Pure Dairy’s reputation as a leader in foodservice innovation.

“The Dandenong South facility represents a significant investment in the future of dairy manufacturing in Australia. It will allow us to service our customers more efficiently, develop new product lines, and scale up our operations to meet the evolving needs of our foodservice and retail partners,” Mr Josephson added.

With these strategic appointments and infrastructure developments, Pure Dairy is poised to deliver even greater value to the Australian and global markets, reinforcing its reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability.
